This paperback edition of the”Woolco Knitting and Crocheting Manual” from 1917 is in Very Good condition for its age. The cover and all pages are clean with no damage. There are instructions for baby clothes, striped afghans, ladies scarfs, and jackets for bridge and the porch. (?)  Interestingly enough, the women’s sweaters are somewhat contemporary in design and similar to longer sweaters found today in catalogues.  The women’s hats and leggings could easily be worn today by artistic youth with an individualistic, retro streak.
